We are Orillia’s only gymnastics club, providing fun, fitness and fundamental gymnastics for children walking to 18 years of age plus for Orillia and area.
Our areas of expertise are women’s artistic gymnastics at gymnastics for all and competitive levels, trampoline, boys groups, tumbling and of course birthday parties! Our well trained staff will guide your child in a fulfilling class using the Olympic apparatus vault, beam, bars, floor and trampoline.
Join us at the gym for your birthday party – 2 hours of fun, fun, fun! Your group will have an hour and fifteen minutes on the gymnastics floor to play games, explore the equipment and jump on the trampoline, Our birthday parties are a real hit!

All competitive coaches are competition 1 trained or certified in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics as well as Foundations Trampoline or higher and spend many hours each week developing our top competitive athletes.

Our gymnastics for all coaches are Foundations trained in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline. Rest assured that your child will learn the sport of gymnastics in a fun and safe environment!

Mariposa Gymnastics Club Aims And Objectives
- To promote the sport of gymnastics in the community by increasing awareness and participation;
- To provide the opportunity for young people to train with high-quality coaching, in a fun and safe environment;
- To develop athletes physiologically, psychologically and technically at the gymnastics for all and competitive levels;
- To maintain the standard of quality programs that promotes equality without discrimination as to race, religion, sex or ability.
Philosophical Statement Of Purpose
- To provide levels of training corresponding to different levels of ability, commitment and potential with the opportunity to perform in competitions;
- To develop athletes individually by setting and working toward realistic goals;
- To motivate athletes to strive to achieve their "personal best";
- To emphasize fun, fitness and the fundamentals of gymnastics;
- To foster a sense of community and team spirit with the other members of the club through an awareness of their common interest in working toward individual and team goals, as well as a sense of sportsmanship and respect for other competitors.
Participants at any event in which Mariposa Gymnastics Club is involved may have their image, likeness, and/or name. used in publications and on the internet by Mariposa Gymnastics as well as its agents and sponsors from time to time. When signing this form, gymnasts, volunteers and coaches allow the use of personal information as outlined above, and image on Mariposa Gymnastics, website, poster, brochure, video, sponsorship packages.

COVID Closure: Closure due to pandemic will be credited to each person for any classes missed.
Illness: No refunds or credits will be provided for any illness, however if a gymnast misses more than 4 classes due to illness we will make every effort to make up classes if there is space in another time slot.
Make Up Classes: We do not make up classes due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control. Cancelled classes will be announced on our website www.mariposagymnastics.ca , our Facebook page, Instagram or listen to our answering machine at 705-325-3754 if you are in doubt!!

It all starts the Week of September 11th, 2023! Please bring your child with long hair tied back, a reusable water bottle, exercise wear and bare feet. Please no extras!
